MY EXPERIENCES WITH KARATE

 Ever since my childhood, I was deeply influenced and fascinated by Martial Arts. My joy knew no bounds when my father told me that I had to join Karate classes in an institute, which is functioning in my own locality. Under the guidance of Sensei Yashpal Singh and Sempai Abhishek Bisht, I am learning the Shito-Ryu style of Karate and have attained the Seventh Kyu grade. Under the motto of this institute “ Honesty, Courtesy, Respect, Discipline, Loyalty and Courage”, my life has undergone many changes. Day by day, I am becoming more courageous, improving my physical stamina, having a lot of respect for rules, becoming more loyal, honest and self confident.

 “The ultimate aim of Karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of its participants.” This is the famous saying of the world famous Karate Master Gichin Funakoshi and this saying is very much implemented by the Shito Ryu Karate-Do Training School.
